The MIX team is partnering with Intel for the August 16 San Francisco Buzz Workshop at Moscone to help spark progressive ideas in game development.
The first confirmed speakers and panels are shaping up well, with great presenters from the Bay Area gaming community:
- Panel featuring The Witness/Braid’s Jonathan Blow, Supergiant Games co-founder Amir Rao and Spy Party’s Chris Hecker, with IGDA president Alex Wilmer moderating.
- Progressive publishing session, with Adult Swim’s Steve Gee, Execution Labs’ Keith Katz and Unity’s Dan Adams.
- Exploration of VR future, with Anna Sweet from Oculus, Scott Anderson from Funomena, Keith Kaisershot from Other Ocean, and Theresa Duringer from Temple Gate, moderated by Intel’s Enthusiast Desktop Group General Manager Frank Soqui.
Developers can submit games for the event’s Indie Developer Showcase here to build visibility for projects, and for a chance to win prizes.
The Workshop will also include other giveaways for attendees throughout the day.
In coordination with the Intel Developer Forum (IDF), attendees get full conference admission to all three IDF days, opening keynote by Intel CEO Brian Krzanich, program sessions and Tech Showcase expo area — a really great value!
Slots are limited. We suggest registering early to lock in a spot and to get early bird discounts to the Workshop.
