About the event
The MIX teamed with the SIGGRAPH show organizers to bring the first-ever indie game showcase to the Vancouver Convention Centre in British Columbia August 12 through 14. At this 20’ x 20’ booth in The Mobile Pavilion, we had 12 outstanding indie developers present their games near excellent exhibitors like Pixar, Oculus Rift, Unity, and Wacom and schools including the Academy of Art, Digipen, Savannah College of Art and Design and Full Sail University.

SIGGRAPH
The SIGGRAPH conference and exhibition is a five-day interdisciplinary educational experience including a three-day commercial exhibition that attracts hundreds of exhibitors from around the world. Since the first event in 1974, SIGGRAPH is now widely recognized as the most prestigious forum for the publication of computer graphics research. In addition to SIGGRAPH’s leading-edge technical program, the conference’s installations provide close-up views of the latest in digital art, emerging technologies, and hands-on opportunities for creative collaboration. Roughly 20,000 attend each SIGGRAPH conference.
