About the event
As we kick off 2023, The MIX is sharing news about our first big showcases of the year with a spotlight on some of the most creative and independent games on the planet!
The MIX has grown as a platform for new indie titles over the past 10 years for developers, press, industry leaders and gamers — and this year will push those boundaries even further by introducing new events and showcases to the world!
Through collaborations with game dev studios, platforms, and publishers who represent indie developers large and small, this first set of showcases will open up opportunities for networking, showcasing projects, and actively supporting the community.
We’re planning a Steam event page, for gamers to purchase or pre-purchase games available in the showcase, download demos, and add to wishlists.
The MIX Direct Showcase
We’ll present announcements, trailers, new gameplay, and more in this online showcase as a preview and lead in to GDC week, bringing together some of the hottest developers and publishers around the world.

The MIX Onsite Showcase
The tradition of kicking off GDC week Monday with The MIX returns in person again this year. Play games, chat and enjoy complimentary food and drinks!
