Synopsis
With Airheart we want to craft the first ever Rogue-Like with Airplanes.
The game is a randomly generated twin stick shooter. You craft your airplane, battle enemies and catch skyfish for their oil. You need to decide, when its ok to push further for more valuable loot and when to return home to upgrade your craft.
You play the young pilot Amelia who is a mechanic and fisherwoman in the slums of the flying city above the clouds called Granaria. Fishermen say, that the legendary skywhale, which is said to reside miles above the city in the stratosphere is supposed to bring anyone who brings him down fortune and riches for lifetime.
But, the seas of the air are a dangerous place. The competition is fierce. There are savage pirates, hostile environment and security drones about that will gladly hunt those down, entering their territories. Over time, reckless harvest of skyfish will result in profitable species dying out in lower regions, driving the player ever further into the conflict zones above.
But, who knows, maybe you’ll be the one to bring down the skywhale.
