The MIX has partnered with Intel since some of our earliest indie game showcases in 2014. Intel’s support has played an integral role with helping to provide developers with important equipment for MIX events – particularly displays and PC hardware.
Through our relationship, developers have had additional opportunities to gain exposure through Intel’s marketing channels and booth space at shows. Intel’s care and attention to the evolution of the development community has resonated with our mission, and we will continue to pursue ways we can contribute to the culture together.
MIX and Intel GameDev BOOST program
The MIX and Intel are now working together in connection with Intel’s GameDev BOOST program which has numerous initiatives for assisting teams of all sizes. Utilizing Intel’s sizeable reach, audience and infrastructure, the GameDev BOOST Program can help connect games with new communities, elevate awareness and provide hardware support.
Boost marketing programs for qualifying games include direct outreach to gamers through email, social media, promos, events and more.

How to get involved
For games to be considered in the Boost program, Intel asks that teams submit for certification testing with the Runs Great on Intel Technology tools to verify compatibility. This can be through self testing or with one of Intel’s QA partners.
Adding support for Intel’s integrated graphics through their tools and technology help make sure games play on as many systems as possible.
